Student Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather and evaluate data in laboratory or field settings.

• Execute data entry tasks and perform validation checks.

• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews.

• Acquire and implement professional concepts to address problems of limited scope and complexity.

• Carry out routine responsibilities as instructed under the guidance of study personnel.

• Travel to domestic and regional research sites to assist with focus groups, environmental assessments, community forums, individual consent processes, and data collection.

• Support outreach initiatives, including mailings and website maintenance.

• Offer technical administrative assistance for the BOLI Workforce Development Program within the Huang Safety Climate Lab.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be enrolled in, on leave from, or otherwise registered in an undergraduate program, maintaining a minimum of 6 credit hours.

• Familiarity with the technical aspects of public health and medicine.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

• Capable of self-motivation, effective prioritization, and meeting deadlines.

• Skilled in gathering, compiling, analyzing, and maintaining information from research publications and online sources.

• Able to exercise discretion when handling sensitive matters and uphold research integrity.

• Preferred: currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Preferred: prior research experience.

• Preferred: knowledge of web development, cloud systems, and AI-enabled applications.

• Preferred: ability to comprehend and articulate technical terminology/systems.

• Preferred: experience with Microsoft Azure.
