Student – Virtual Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Ensure a responsive line of communication with both your student and their parent or guardian.

• Conduct tutoring sessions at least weekly for 60 minutes with each student.

• Assist students with homework, test preparation, study techniques, and more.

• Serve as a mentor in addition to providing tutoring support.

• Establish and manage your own schedule.

• Facilitate tutoring sessions via Zoom.

• Complete the onboarding process for Learn To Be FWS Tutor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in classes as part of a degree program at Southern New Hampshire University.

• Work-study eligibility must be included in the financial aid package.

• Preference may be given to students with work-study availability.

• Agreement to undergo a DOJ Dru Sjodin Sex Offender Database Background check.

• Complete all necessary onboarding for Learn To Be FWS Tutor.

• Must be comfortable conducting sessions through Zoom.

• Must have access to a device with internet connectivity and a functional webcam.

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is not required.

• Students from all academic majors are encouraged to apply.
