Student – Step Up Virtual Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage virtually with students in grades 2-6 during two sessions each week.

• Provide tutoring and mentorship to at least three students.

• Each tutoring session lasts 45 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes allocated for preparation.

• Emphasize the development of essential math and literacy skills through evidence-based online programs.

• Participate in live training sessions to equip you for tutoring — no previous experience necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in classes as part of a degree program at SNHU.

• Must be a part of a work-study financial aid package.

• Preference may be given to students with work-study eligibility.

• Completion of a mandatory background check is required.

• Commitment to a minimum duration of 3 months.

• Must have access to the internet and a computer or tablet equipped with a camera and microphone.

• Excellent communication skills are essential.

• Must be comfortable using email and video communication platforms.

• A growth mindset is preferred.

• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

• Strong time management abilities are required.

• Must be responsible and dependable.
