Student Intern – Undergraduate Ministry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Actively engage and collaborate with the campus ministry team to establish spiritual vision and direction.

• Contribute towards achieving the campus ministry team’s objectives for spiritual growth and transformation.

• Instruct students on how to love, study, and integrate Scripture into their daily lives.

• Advocate for the Mission on campus (to foster witnessing communities that are bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse): Identify opportunities to proclaim and exemplify the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

• Acquire skills to guide chapters (or designated segments of a chapter) in developing strategic thinking regarding their witness to the university.

• Learn to exemplify and aid students and faculty in nurturing their love for God's people across all ethnicities and cultures.

• Inspire students to adopt a prayerful lifestyle, particularly focusing on those who have yet to embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior.

• Engage positively with the guidance and training provided by your staff ministry trainer and/or director.

• Assist with reporting tasks as assigned.

• Represent InterVarsity to individual ministry partners and churches through prayer, discussions about ministry efforts, mission, and achievements.

• Perform additional duties as directed by your supervisor.

• Must annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement.

• A growing passion for evangelism.

• Exhibits leadership qualities in campus ministry such as initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, effective communication, professionalism, willingness to learn, cross-cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity.
