Student Intern – Nurses Christian Fellowship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Actively engage and collaborate with the campus ministry team to establish spiritual vision and direction.

• Contribute to achieving the campus ministry team's goals for spiritual growth and transformation.

• Instruct students on how to love, study, and apply Scripture in their daily lives.

• Advocate for the Mission on campus to foster witnessing communities that are bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse.

• Seek out opportunities to proclaim and exemplify the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

• Learn to guide chapters (or designated segments of a chapter) in developing strategic approaches to witnessing within the university.

• Learn to demonstrate and support students and faculty in deepening their love for God's diverse people across all ethnicities and cultures.

• Promote a lifestyle of prayer among students, particularly those who have yet to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

• Engage positively with the supervision and mentorship provided by your staff ministry trainer and/or director.

• Assist with reporting tasks as assigned.

• Serve as an ambassador for InterVarsity to individual ministry partners and churches through prayer, discussions about ministry initiatives, mission, and accomplishments.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

• A committed follower of Jesus Christ.

• Must annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement.

• A growing passion for evangelism.

• Exhibits campus ministry leadership traits such as initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, effective communication, professionalism, a willingness to learn, cross-cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity.
