
Student Enrollment Coordinator – High School Study Abroad

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Drive student enrollment in CIEE’s impactful study abroad programs tailored for high school students and recent graduates through effective sales outreach and a results-oriented mindset.
• You will manage the complete applicant experience, from initial interest to confirmed participation, proactively supporting students and establishing trust with both students and their families throughout the process.
• Articulate the benefits and tangible results of studying abroad to U.S. high school students and their guardians.
• Adhere to a systematic sales outreach strategy to actively engage interested leads and applicants via phone, text, and email communications.
• Inspire and guide participants and their families through the scholarship and application procedures.
• Collaborate with families to address challenges associated with high school study abroad programs.
• Deliver professional and prompt customer service to students and parents during the entire application journey, including program acceptance, confirmation, and pre-departure readiness.
• Conduct virtual webinars for students and parents, presenting to large groups; this may require some evening hours.
• Present in person to students and parents at high schools and fairs within your designated territory, necessitating some domestic travel.
• Review applications, accept candidates, and convert them into enrolled participants.
• Ensure that financial accounts for participants are accurate and fully paid, and follow up on any discrepancies or missing payments.
• Utilize reports within Salesforce (CRM system) to manage your applicant pipeline and achieve sales targets.
• Keep precise records of communication with clients in Salesforce (CRM system).
• Provide ongoing support for participants throughout all programs during the year.
• Engage in sales training regularly and continuously strive to enhance your skills as a sales professional.
• Willingness to work some evening hours to connect with students and guardians at their convenience.
• Responsible for offering emergency support during 1-2 travel weekends each year.
• Opportunity to earn international travel up to once a year to accompany student group flights.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international qualification.
• At least two years of experience in customer service or sales.
• Capability to handle challenging conversations effectively.
• Experience with international travel or studying abroad is an advantage.
• Experience engaging with diverse high school students is a plus.
• Proficiency in additional languages beyond English is a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your message for different audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
