This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and text messages as specified by program-specific engagement strategies.
• Address student inquiries through phone, email, and text messaging.
• Work in conjunction with the Enrollment Advisor to effectively onboard new students as required by the program.
• Record all communications with students and maintain pertinent data in the CRM and other systems.
• Document relevant interactions with cross-functional team members and fulfill any necessary action items.
• Recognize the dynamics of the student population and collaborate with the Associate Director to meet retention and placement objectives.
• Verify final student enrollment figures at the end of the term for Enrollment Verification.
• Perform outreach regarding key student progress milestones, including registration, participation, completion of clearances, grades, and indicators of at-risk status.
• Correspond with university partner faculty or advisor contacts via email as needed within the designated timeframe.
• Provide timely escalations to the Associate Director for necessary communications to university partners or internal stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience (such as Student Advising, Call Center, In/Out Bound, Customer Service) is required.
• Experience in higher education or similar settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the needs and challenges confronted by adult learners.
• A strong commitment to excellence and adaptability.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and managing ambiguity.
• Proficient in researching, critically analyzing, and resolving issues related to student records and policies.
• A keen attention to detail, particularly in record-keeping and records management.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
• A genuine interest and dedication to assisting students in achieving their goals.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
