Student Accounts Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate individual sessions with students to encourage informed borrowing, effective debt management strategies, and repayment responsibilities.

• Conduct financial literacy workshops that provide students with essential tools for effective financial planning.

• Supervise and track student tuition payments, working closely with billing services to ensure precision.

• Review and confirm the accuracy of ledger balances for students nearing graduation.

• Partner with graduating students to evaluate and identify the most appropriate post-graduation payment plans.

• Manage billing processes for all tuition reimbursement programs, including employer-sponsored reimbursements and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs.

• Conduct exit counseling sessions with graduating students, offering advice on student loan repayment and addressing any outstanding account balances while ensuring the consolidation of Institutional Financing loans services by third-party servicers.

• Actively inform students of their account balances through outreach efforts, including in-person meetings, phone calls, text messages, and emails.

• Address delinquent accounts and collaborate with staff for resolution, adhering to established workflows.

• Take part in workshops and sessions focused on increasing awareness of payment plans and financial resources.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.

• Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will be taken into account.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• Familiarity with CampusVue Student database is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to adapt to new methodologies, technologies, and systems.

• Capacity to perform well in high-pressure situations with strict deadlines.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, delivering outstanding customer service to students, colleagues, and external contacts.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse team settings.
