This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Delivers forensic consulting services that necessitate expertise in Civil Engineering for various clients, including those in insurance, legal, and industrial sectors.
• Evaluates and identifies the cause and origin of structural failures and/or damage, failures and/or damage to building envelopes, and construction defects.
• Produces both oral and written reports detailing findings and provides expert testimony when necessary.
• Oversees multiple projects simultaneously.
• Conducts investigations and analyses of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to resolve claims and legal issues.
• Composes oral and written reports to detail the causes of failure and/or damage, the extent of loss, the associated repair scope, and recommended remediation strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a higher qualification.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required in the state of employment or the ability to secure it swiftly.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Project Management and/or Field Investigation is preferred.
