This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the development of projects from initial concept to final completion, while identifying and addressing design, budget, and scheduling risks.
• Take ownership of site layouts, master planning, and site design, collaborating with both internal and external consultants and EPCs.
• Enhance civil site layouts for optimal land utilization, factoring in equipment selection, topography, environmental constraints, and permitting requirements.
• Refine grading plans, which includes conducting cut and fill analyses and balancing earthwork.
• Create and evaluate design documentation for structural systems, encompassing concrete, steel, prefabricated structures, and foundations.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, geotechnical, and construction teams to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards.
• Oversee site diligence activities, including stormwater management, utility coordination, and geotechnical studies.
• Offer civil and structural engineering assistance throughout the engineering and construction execution phases.
• A Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Over 5 years of experience in design, project management, or construction within natural gas power, data center, or heavy industrial projects.
• Robust understanding of civil and structural design principles, due diligence processes, and EPC construction standards.
• Preferably possess working knowledge of data center, natural gas power plant, or heavy industrial systems and their cost drivers.
• Experience in foundation design for vibrating equipment, along with expertise in structural steel, reinforced concrete, and geotechnical coordination.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying risks and making informed engineering decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work across cross-functional teams.
• Solid project management skills, with the capability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
