This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Provide an overview of your daily tasks and project-specific workflows in detail.
β’ Discuss actual (appropriately anonymized) projects to convey the design intent behind your work.
β’ Evaluate product concepts and early prototypes: share candidly where they could save time, introduce risks, and where they may fail in real-world applications.
β’ Assist us in identifying where civil engineering hands off to structural and MEP, as well as to surveyors, agencies, and contractors, and pinpoint where coordination tends to break down.
β’ Clarify the distinction between essential engineering judgment and repetitive processes that could benefit from automation.
β’ Must possess a licensed PE in civil engineering (or equivalent senior experience) with a proven record of delivering tangible land development, site, or infrastructure projects.
β’ Proficient in software tools such as Civil 3D and stormwater/hydrology & hydraulics programs (e.g., HydroCAD, SWMM, HEC-RAS).
β’ Possess a strong curiosity about operational mechanics and the capability to articulate why tasks are performed as they are.
β’ Have well-formed opinions regarding your discipline's workflows, including identifying their shortcomings.
β’ Competitive hourly compensation.
