This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide an overview of your daily tasks and project-specific workflows in detail.

• Discuss actual (appropriately anonymized) projects to convey the design intent behind your work.

• Evaluate product concepts and early prototypes: share candidly where they could save time, introduce risks, and where they may fail in real-world applications.

• Assist us in identifying where civil engineering hands off to structural and MEP, as well as to surveyors, agencies, and contractors, and pinpoint where coordination tends to break down.

• Clarify the distinction between essential engineering judgment and repetitive processes that could benefit from automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a licensed PE in civil engineering (or equivalent senior experience) with a proven record of delivering tangible land development, site, or infrastructure projects.

• Proficient in software tools such as Civil 3D and stormwater/hydrology & hydraulics programs (e.g., HydroCAD, SWMM, HEC-RAS).

• Possess a strong curiosity about operational mechanics and the capability to articulate why tasks are performed as they are.

• Have well-formed opinions regarding your discipline's workflows, including identifying their shortcomings.
