This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct thorough structural analysis and design for utility and infrastructure projects in accordance with AISC and relevant codes.
• Create and evaluate engineering calculations, drawings, and reports pertaining to steel and foundation structures.
• Employ PLS-POLE, FEA tools, and various modeling software to analyze structural performance and enhance design efficiency.
• Assess structural responses to wind, seismic, and load conditions to ensure stability and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with civil, electrical, and field teams to guarantee design precision and construction viability.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis within utilities or infrastructure.
• Expertise in PLS-POLE, finite element analysis (FEA), and related engineering software.
• Strong grasp of AISC structural steel design principles and standards.
• Experience in calculating structural base reactions, load paths, and stress factors.
• Knowledge of seismic load analysis and regional design standards.
