Strategy & Operations Manager – Bi-lingual Japanese/English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive market analysis to pinpoint high-potential geographic areas and clinical specialties for OBL expansion.

• Oversee the complete project management lifecycle and implementation of the OBL business as a premier new market initiative.

• Manage the commercial P&L trajectory for the OBL platform, including project timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.

• Promote excellence throughout the network by defining KPIs and standardizing workflows to enhance efficiency.

• Facilitate organizational scalability by reporting performance metrics to the executive team and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• Lead negotiations with hospitals, medical groups, and private practices to establish lasting strategic partnerships.

• Develop a strong vendor ecosystem, overseeing relationships with EMR providers, medical equipment suppliers, and facility management services.

• Navigate intricate legal and financial frameworks, including MSO/PC structures and CPOM compliance, to achieve corporate objectives.

• Act as the primary point of contact between the U.S. execution team and the corporate headquarters in Japan.

• Foster internal alignment across Finance, Legal, HR, and Clinical departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in demanding, fast-paced professional environments.

• Demonstrated success in Management Consulting, Finance (IB/PE), or a Japanese Trading Company (Sogo Shosha).

• Proficiency in Japanese and English at a business level is essential. Ability to draft reports and lead technical discussions in both languages is required.

• MBA: A Master of Business Administration from a prestigious global business school is preferred.

• Previous experience in the healthcare sector (providers, medical devices, or health tech) is a significant advantage, though not necessary for candidates with strong learning agility.

• Experience in launching "zero-to-one" businesses or managing complex projects is preferred.
