Strategic Sourcing Specialist

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Sourcing Pursuit Leads to create innovative third-party solutions and competitive pricing strategies for new business opportunities, client expansions, and renewals.

• Perform market research, identify suppliers, and conduct preliminary pricing analyses to assist sales teams in crafting persuasive client proposals and presentations.

• Implement advanced sourcing projects during client transition phases, encompassing thorough due diligence activities, market analysis, and assessments of supplier capabilities.

• Facilitate the execution of sourcing solutions from contract award to operational delivery, ensuring a smooth transition and readiness on day one.

• Gather detailed market intelligence to bolster both pursuit activities and implementation projects.

• Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing trends, and service delivery models to guide sourcing strategies and maintain JLL's and its clients' competitive positioning.

• Oversee Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes for both pursuit support and implementation initiatives.

• Create comprehensive tender documentation, coordinate supplier responses, and perform thorough evaluations to achieve optimal sourcing results.

• Collect and analyze complex data sets to inform sourcing decisions and strategic recommendations.

• Conduct financial modeling, cost analysis, and benchmarking activities that guide both pursuit strategies and implementation methods.

• Assist in contract development, provide negotiation support, and manage documentation for both pursuit and implementation activities.

• Lead the execution of contracts for designated advanced sourcing projects, including drafting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements.

• Monitor supplier performance, track project milestones, and deliver regular reports on sourcing activities to the Advanced Sourcing/Strategic Sourcing Leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.

• Over 3 years of strategic sourcing or related experience.

• Proven capability to manage complex project timelines and coordinate critical deliverables with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.

• Experience in developing comprehensive contract frameworks, including statements of work, service schedules, and pricing structures, with a strong focus on detail and professional document standards.

• Established ability to support and influence teams in decentralized settings.

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (both oral and written).

• Proficient in MS Office applications, with a strong emphasis on advanced Excel for financial modeling and data analysis, as well as robust PowerPoint skills for executive presentations.
