Strategic Solutions Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, replicate, and adjust customer reports in accordance with Green Mountain Technology standards.

• Generate on-demand reports based on client requests.

• Extract and organize data from the data warehouse for ad hoc analysis.

• Conduct re-rate analyses that address service changes, DIM changes, surcharges, CWT, re-zoning, and GRI validation.

• Assist in carrier RFP analysis and modeling for both national and regional carriers.

• Create monthly savings and performance reports.

• Clarify customer-facing reports.

• Interpret and draft business requirements for GL coding, cost allocation, and data labeling.

• Acquire knowledge of carrier file types, invoice translation, audit flags, and carrier contracts.

• Ensure quality of deliverables and collaborate with other engineers to verify their work.

• Record client discussions and maintain action items in Jira and Confluence.

• Notify the manager of any timeline or expectation risks.

• Enhance processes, implement error-proofing measures, and manage system requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in an analytics position.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data cleansing, and data manipulation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Mathematics, MIS, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent critical thinking abilities with a proactive approach to identifying issues.

• Self-motivated and focused on achieving results.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Basic understanding of SQL queries and relational databases.

• Familiarity with transportation and supply chain systems and concepts.

• Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Tableau or knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

• Comfortable presenting work and explaining concepts to individuals who did not create it.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States, as confirmed by state-specific remote eligibility and E-Verify participation.
