This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for promoting specific Advarra services that tackle the distinct business challenges in the clinical trial process, particularly regarding Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) reviews.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to enhance IRB and IBC services among both current clients and potential sales opportunities.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key IRB and IBC stakeholders within client organizations.
• Lead initiatives related to IRB and IBC, working together with pertinent commercial and operational colleagues during discovery calls, solution formulation, pricing strategies, proposal creation, bid defense meetings, and contracting as necessary.
• Remain informed about emerging market trends and competitive activities in IRB and IBC, and share insights with commercial teams on how to leverage this knowledge.
• Build and sustain an in-depth understanding of the organization and its IRB and IBC services/capabilities, assess client needs, and determine how our IRB and IBC services can fulfill those needs.
• Seek new business opportunities through conventional sales methods such as email outreach, cold calling, attending conferences, etc.
• Employ Salesforce to oversee accounts, opportunities, contacts, and all related activities and communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee the successful implementation of sold solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
• Assist in supporting, establishing, and managing quarterly Field Marketing activities for the solutions portfolio, including, but not limited to webinars, conference participation and presentations, customer and industry events.
• This position requires travel 25 - 50% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in a sales or account management role within the life sciences sector.
• Familiarity with IRB and IBC requirements, market demands, and the competitive landscape.
• A solid grasp of the clinical research industry, preferably in study participant protection, or a background that facilitates an easy understanding of human research protection.
• Capability to create and implement a territory and key account sales strategy.
• Strong interpersonal selling abilities.
• Robust business acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
