This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee global account strategies encompassing sales, supply chain, pricing, and contract teams.
• Propel growth within a matrix-selling framework alongside internal teams and external suppliers.
• Act as the executive liaison for global accounts.
• Manage communications, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives for accounts.
• Formulate and implement pricing and margin strategies in collaboration with finance and procurement.
• Negotiate terms with manufacturers and channel partners.
• Deliver engaging presentations and spearhead contract proposals for both new and existing opportunities.
• Champion customer needs, ensuring prompt resolutions and long-term alignment.
• Maintain global account performance and foster customer engagement through travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is necessary.
• Over 7 years of sales leadership experience in a global, matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing executive-level customer relationships.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence legal, finance, operations, and technical functions.
• Proficient in pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Competent in presentations, proposal development, change management, and strategic initiatives.
• Global market insight and cultural fluency in customer engagement.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Preferred experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotech, or specialty chemicals.
• Background in multi-supplier/channel distribution or scientific supplier networks is preferred.
• Exposure to CDMO, CRO, capital equipment, or regulated environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or Dynamics is preferred.
• Knowledge of forecasting tools such as Power BI is beneficial.
• Understanding of global compliance standards like GMP and ISO is preferred.
