This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Analysts generate essential insights for our clients through published research and direct client interactions, addressing organizational challenges that enhance performance.
• Interact with clients daily via phone, video conferences, or even in person at Gartner events.
• Investigate practices, trends, and technologies to produce research accessible to Gartner clients for online viewing or downloading and application.
• Develop insightful and actionable research for General Counsel, offering best practices and guidance on board governance, risk management, and the future of legal functions.
• Remain informed on emerging developments and issues (e.g., M&A trends, regulatory changes) by understanding the broader market and ecosystem relevant to the legal function and the success of GCs.
• Provide sales support by acting as the voice of the market and domain expert, assisting Gartner’s commercial team in envisioning services for prospective clients.
• Collaborate with fellow Gartner analysts to create content that engages clients, aiding them in progressing toward their critical objectives.
• Deliver high-quality and timely peer reviews of colleagues’ research content.
• Design and present high-value materials (either in-person or virtually) for Gartner events, industry and professional association conferences, webinars, and client briefings.
• Over 12 years of relevant experience, including a background as a corporate in-house lawyer.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• JD degree is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in presenting to the board, leading and/or coordinating risk management initiatives, developing strategic functions, and cultivating talent and relationships throughout the organization.
• Knowledge and experience as a General Counsel or in a similar capacity (AGC/DGC).
• Experience and enthusiasm for advising, presenting to, and drafting materials for senior organizational leaders (e.g., CEO, GC, Board of Directors, Chief Audit Executives, Head of Risk/ERM, Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer).
• Exhibit executive presence with the capability to establish credibility with executives and other stakeholders.
• High learning agility and comfort in navigating complex, fast-paced environments.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to customize messaging for diverse audiences and influence at all levels.
