📋 Description

• In the capacity of a Modern Work subject matter expert, this role is essential in connecting sales, delivery, and the Center of Excellence to guarantee that the solutions offered to our clients are technically robust, financially sustainable, and operationally repeatable.

• Spearhead solution architecture initiatives throughout the sales cycle, converting business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant Microsoft-based solutions.

• Accountable for aiding in the definition, packaging, and standardization of Modern Work service offerings, ensuring they align with delivery capabilities and market requirements.

• Create packaged offerings (such as Rapid Deploy Solutions, assessments, and roadmap engagements) that facilitate scalable growth.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from the pre-sales phase to execution.

• Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts across solution design, delivery methodologies, and operational excellence.

• Work in conjunction with sales, delivery, PMO, and COE teams within a matrixed environment.

• Oversee the Modern Work presales function, which includes solution strategy, deal shaping, and client engagement; collaborate with Sales teams to enhance pipeline and win rates for proposals.

• Act as a technical advisor at the executive level to support client engagements, discovery sessions, and solution positioning.

• Direct technical solutioning throughout the presale lifecycle, including whiteboarding, architecture design, and client presentations.

• Interpret customer business needs into well-defined technical solutions and service offerings.

• Create proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and pricing strategies in partnership with delivery and finance teams.

• Design Modern Work solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies, ensuring they meet customer collaboration, security, and compliance requirements.

• Produce high-level and detailed architecture artifacts, such as reference architectures, diagrams, and design documentation, including the identification of integration points across Microsoft 365, Azure, security, and compliance services.

• Offer insights on technical tradeoffs, risks, and implementation considerations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, particularly in Modern Work solutions (Microsoft 365).

• More than 10 years of experience in solution architecture, presales engineering, or consulting roles.

• Proven experience in supporting sales cycles, developing solutions, and aiding in service offering development.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

• Strong understanding of identity and access management, including Entra ID (Azure AD), SSO, and conditional access.

• Previous experience in identifying integration points across Microsoft 365, Azure, security, and compliance services.

• Ability to provide guidance on technical tradeoffs, risks, and implementation considerations.

• Proven capability to communicate effectively and clearly with clients, leadership, and peers.

• Experience working with SLG and Defense Industrial Base clients is preferred.
