This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The National Business Manager will oversee sales-related activities that support Walmart, aiming to boost volume and financial outcomes while operating under the guidance of the Sr. National Business Manager.
• This position fosters personal relationships with customers and effectively manages essential business processes to establish credibility and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• The role will collaborate across various functions including the Sales Team, Customer Marketing, E-Commerce, and Brand Teams.
• Additional responsibilities entail:
• Overseeing item creation, addressing both Brick and Mortar and E-Commerce products.
• Leading channel-specific DSMP (Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing) initiatives to meet sales objectives within the designated area.
• Managing relevant business systems to assess the effectiveness of sales strategy execution.
• Conducting customer planning to ensure alignment with channel strategies.
• Communicating with the Area Sales Manager to report on dynamics and potential sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Managing customer interactions to identify cross-selling, upselling, and repeat sales opportunities.
• Addressing issues with key customers to guarantee they receive top-quality customer service.
• 2-5 years of experience with Walmart in a sales, category, or similar role.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience with Retail Link/Madrid 2.0 is preferred.
• Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• E-Commerce experience is advantageous.
• Proven ability to work independently successfully.
• Fundamental understanding of sales principles.
• Strong skills in relationship building and interpersonal communication.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to provide exceptional customer service at all levels, ensuring PVM is a preferred partner for accounts.
• Knowledge of product development and performance to define and plan an optimal category mix across various customer environments.
• Effective communication skills to convey the right information to the appropriate audiences and engage diverse groups.
• Ability to translate market insights into successful value propositions that address future customer needs and strengthen the brand foundation while aligning with business strategy.
• Flexibility to adapt to commercial changes in needs and market trends.
