Strategic Ecommerce Partnerships – Marketplace Manager/Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Establish connections with ecommerce and marketplace brands that align with Crop.photo’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)

• Introduce qualified ecommerce operators, marketplace teams, merchandising departments, and digital commerce stakeholders to Crop.photo

• Identify eCommerce vendors facing challenges with operational onboarding, product image workflows, merchandising scalability, or large-scale marketplace readiness

• Collaborate directly with leadership to shape go-to-market strategies and ecosystem partnerships

• Assist in recognizing operational challenges within ecommerce marketplaces and onboarding processes

• Initiate discussions with seller/merchant teams, marketplace operators, ecommerce directors, onboarding leaders, and digital commerce stakeholders

• Provide guidance on how brands currently handle onboarding, catalog readiness, content workflows, merchandising operations, and scaling visual commerce

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in marketplace roles: merchant success, onboarding, seller enablement, or ecommerce implementation teams

• Established connections with ecommerce brands, marketplace sellers, digital commerce teams, or supplier networks

• In-depth understanding of how brands operationally launch and scale across ecommerce and marketplace channels

• Experience in sectors such as apparel, fashion, beauty, accessories, footwear, furniture, or other visual commerce categories is highly preferred

• Comfortable engaging directly with startup founders in a dynamic environment

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative problem-solving abilities

• Capability to identify operational challenges and link them to scalable workflow solutions
