Strategic Consultant – Digital Evaluations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Establishes and nurtures robust relationships with clients by identifying and assessing their needs, offering and suggesting solutions, and steering the process with internal key stakeholders to fulfill clients’ goals and objectives.

• Manages intricate client projects and employs Engage fi and industry best practices to execute client strategies and implement project tactics aimed at mitigating risks and ensuring success.

• Collaborates with the project team and other Engage fi members to create, tailor, and sustain essential project documents, including RFPs and project timelines.

• Oversees the scope, schedule, and budget of projects, guaranteeing that work is completed according to the plan/statement of work (SOW).

• Facilitates project workshops, vendor sessions, and other pivotal project events and communications, chairs project meetings, and provides subject matter expert guidance to ensure project tasks are accomplished in a timely manner, while effectively tracking, addressing, and escalating risks, gaps, and issues.

• Cultivates and maintains connections with key strategic vendors, analyzes and monitors financial industry market trends, engages in solution demonstrations, and stays updated on vendor developments.

• Reviews clients’ current invoices and existing contracts to extract relevant business terms, dates, and pricing.

• Collaborates with clients, their legal representatives, vendors, and Engage fi team members to negotiate favorable pricing and contract terms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in the credit union, banking, payments, or related vendor industries, with a preference for prior leadership roles.

• Proficiency in project oversight/management and familiarity with core banking conversions.

• Extensive industry knowledge of core banking systems, credit/debit card processing, online banking insurance, bank operations, and/or lending origination vendors, solutions, tools, and processes.

• Proven experience in successfully executing vendor selection and/or conversion technology projects involving both product and custom solutions.

• Strong understanding of vendor technology contracts, general contract business terms, and vendor proposal pricing analysis and comparisons.

• Demonstrated capability to manage external, third-party vendors and clients/customers effectively.

• Ability to facilitate creative problem-solving sessions with leadership teams across various business disciplines.

• Skill in presenting complex solutions to senior leadership teams.

• Familiarity with contract negotiations and vendor management in the digital domain.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software, and CRM platforms.
