This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Oversee strategic planning and execution within targeted healthcare organizations, ensuring alignment on mutual clinical, operational, and economic goals.
• Utilize a data-driven perspective to identify and prioritize key accounts based on market opportunities, institutional compatibility, and readiness for engagement.
• Create customized account engagement strategies and evaluations that enhance care models for rare kidney diseases.
• Establish valuable relationships with C-suite executives, line directors, nephrologists, P&T stakeholders, care pathway leaders, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote collaborative initiatives for developing best practices in clinical pathways, early diagnosis, and care transitions.
• Discover opportunities to increase access, enhance diagnosis rates, and support sustainable kidney preservation approaches.
• Act as the main point of contact and coordinator among internal collaborators, including Medical Affairs, Field Medical (MSLs), Marketing, Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs), Sales, Patient Advocacy, HEOR, Patient Services, and Market Access teams.
• Guide internal business planning for strategic accounts, ensuring the integration of unbranded education, peer-to-peer programs, REMS coordination, and clinical protocol implementation.
• Propel ecosystem collaboration to monitor key metrics, provide regular performance updates, and formulate action plans.
• Gather, synthesize, and relay actionable insights to internal stakeholders to inform strategy, education, and access initiatives.
• Monitor and report progress against key account metrics, including pathway adoption, patient identification trends, engagement outcomes, and resource utilization.
• A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, PharmD, or MS) is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sectors; experience in nephrology, rare diseases, or specialty care is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in strategic account management, healthcare system engagement, or leadership roles in the field.
• Capability to work across functions, navigate uncertainty, and lead without formal authority.
• Strong business acumen, communication skills, and consultative selling abilities.
• Proven aptitude for building executive-level relationships and influencing across complex healthcare organizations.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, alongside superior verbal and written communication abilities.
• Successful history of developing and managing intricate project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes and modifications in project plans, demonstrating the ability to implement new strategies and tactics as necessary.
• Willingness to travel 60% domestically and internationally.
