• Promote the cross-selling of SimScale's Engineering AI and Physics AI capabilities by introducing and commercializing our AI product suite to engineering leaders and technical decision-makers who are already utilizing SimScale simulation.
• Unlock new opportunities within current organizations by identifying and engaging new business units, departments, engineering teams, and executive sponsors who are not yet integrated into the SimScale ecosystem.
• Cultivate executive-level partnerships by positioning yourself as a trusted strategic advisor at the C-level and VP-level, making SimScale a long-term collaborator in customers' engineering innovation and digital transformation journeys.
• Coordinate a high-performing internal team by collaborating with CSMs, Application Engineers, AEs, SDRs, and CS/Sales leadership to leverage SimScale's complete capabilities for account growth.
• Create and manage your own sales pipeline by conducting structured outreach within customer organizations, qualifying expansion opportunities, and driving deals from initial contact to closure.
• Lead Executive Business Reviews by facilitating strategic EBRs that align SimScale's roadmap and AI capabilities with customers' engineering goals, reinforcing the value of a multi-year partnership.
• Communicate a compelling cross-product value proposition by narrating the synergy between CAE simulation and Engineering AI, making a strong case for why SimScale represents the future of engineering rather than merely a tool for the present.
• Over 7 years of experience in a quota-carrying commercial position within SaaS, technical software, or engineering solutions sales (CAE, PLM, CAD, EDA, or similar).
• Demonstrated success in expanding existing accounts rather than solely acquiring new ones.
• Solid background in simulation, PLM, CAD, or related engineering software, with a comprehensive understanding of simulation's value in product development, enabling credible engagement with Heads of Engineering, VP R&D, and Chief Engineers.
• Experience as a strategic account farmer, with the ability to cultivate relationships across large customer organizations, identify whitespace, and initiate new commercial conversations in previously closed environments.
• Proven success in selling or introducing a second product line to an existing customer base, with a grasp of multi-product expansion strategies and the ability to customize narratives for various buyer personas.
• Executive presence and mastery in communication, capable of presenting with assurance in front of senior audiences, simplifying complex technical or AI concepts for non-technical buyers, and crafting compelling commercial proposals.
• Strong sales discipline and proficiency in Salesforce, maintaining a well-organized pipeline, accurate forecasting, and generating opportunities through structured outreach and relationship-driven discovery.
• Team-selling mentality, thriving in collaboration with CSMs, AEs, Application Engineers, and SDRs in a unified commercial effort, and adept at influencing internal stakeholders to secure resources for your accounts.
• Proactive hunting instinct within the installed base, taking initiative to create expansion discussions through thoughtful outreach, insight-led engagement, and strategic relationship development.
• Willingness to travel for in-person executive meetings with key accounts, with an estimated travel requirement of 20–30%.
• Competitive compensation package including a base salary plus a variable component linked to expansion ARR quota achievement, along with comprehensive benefits tailored to your EMEA location (health coverage, pension, paid time off, and more).
• Flexible, remote-first work environment, allowing you to operate from anywhere within the EMEA region while having the autonomy to design your own engagement schedule.
• Opportunities for professional development through access to online learning platforms, industry certifications, internal tech discussions, and direct exposure to some of the most innovative engineering organizations worldwide.
• A diverse and inclusive team environment featuring colleagues from over 35 countries, united by curiosity, ambition, and a shared belief that engineering simulation should be accessible to all.
