This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and manage intricate existing accounts while promoting market growth within the assigned territory.
• Act as a trusted consultant for clients, providing strategic advice and proactively addressing any challenges or concerns.
• Negotiate contract renewals and service agreements, securing advantageous terms to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Marketing Team to maintain a strong lead pipeline and effective lead nurturing efforts.
• Develop and present compelling value propositions to potential clients, emphasizing the unique advantages of our solutions.
• Facilitate collaborative selling opportunities with partners, utilizing synergies to maximize sales potential.
• Lead pursuit teams for larger-scale opportunities, coordinating efforts for comprehensive client engagement.
• Guide and inform prospects throughout the purchasing journey, offering insights and assistance as necessary.
• Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy focused on exceeding established sales targets.
• Gain a thorough understanding of complex customer requirements across operational, business, and technical areas.
• Independently produce and present tailored presentations on Granicus, demonstrating its potential to transform public engagement strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources, including sales support, marketing, and solution consultants, to deliver persuasive pitches and proposals.
• Manage all sales activities within the designated territory, from prospecting and tracking to opportunity management, revenue forecasting, and contract negotiation.
• Actively seek leads generated through personal initiatives and marketing efforts.
• Assist in devising sales strategies in partnership with the management team.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all interactions in our Salesforce CRM system.
• Prepare and present quarterly business reviews to Sales Management, Senior Management, and colleagues.
• 5+ years of experience in Public Sector sales within IT, information services, or business services sold on a subscription basis.
• Proven success in selling through partners, resellers, and/or integrators.
• Effective Prospecting and Opportunity Closure: Proven ability to identify and cultivate sales leads through direct outreach and in-person interactions.
• Proficient in CRM Utilization: Effectively utilizes customer relationship management software.
• Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments: Excels in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
• Client-Centric Problem-Solving: Committed to assisting clients in overcoming obstacles.
• Solution-Oriented Sales Approach: Implements sales processes within a solution-focused framework.
