This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• In the role of Account Manager at Copperleaf, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, driving the identification and qualification of opportunities, executing account strategies, and generating revenue from licenses, support, and services.
• This position focuses on collaborating with established clients of Copperleaf and IFS.
• Build a network of relationships within your assigned accounts across various functional areas and organizational levels.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by each account in portfolio planning and asset management.
• Determine how Copperleaf can positively impact the account’s business and contribute to the success of our champions.
• Collaborate with accounts to co-create a solution roadmap where engagement is beneficial.
• Lead the procurement and commercial processes to successfully finalize business transactions.
• Direct a Copperleaf “deal team” to assist in both solution definition and the execution of the sales process.
• Advocate for your customer’s needs and your deals internally within Copperleaf.
• Continuously gather insights about competitors and strategize on effectively positioning our solutions.
• Manage a sales process that emphasizes our solution as a strategic advantage for the prospect.
• Regularly discuss and share the opportunity plan sales strategy with other team members, including field and corporate management.
• Maintain a precise and documented pipeline of opportunities (prospects and suspects) within CRM.
• You have a natural ability to connect with people and forge friendships wherever you go.
• Your focus is on achieving excellent outcomes for your customers, and you take pride in witnessing their success.
• You thrive on challenges and are motivated to achieve victories.
• Your problem-solving and strategic thinking skills are strong.
• You are experienced and comfortable selling enterprise software to C-level executives.
• You possess the ability to navigate complex organizations and have experience with intricate software sales, solution selling, and value-based selling.
• You can position new business opportunities within accounts by developing, communicating, and executing effective selling strategies based on a customer-specific value proposition.
• You enjoy leading cross-functional teams to drive results.
• You have dynamic presentation skills, enabling you to articulate customer challenges and link them to the value proposition.
• You are generally familiar with consultative selling methodologies.
• You are open to traveling and willing to dedicate 50% of your time visiting clients or participating in industry events within the region.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries such as Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, Public Sector, or Transportation is preferred.
