📋 Description

• Client Consultation: Develops and nurtures relationships with brokers and clients by providing strategic solutions to challenges faced by hospital pharmacies.

• Conducts proactive utilization and trend analysis to discover solutions that help manage and reduce pharmaceutical expenditures.

• Serves a key advisory role by offering client consultation on RxBenefits and/or PBM services and products.

• Designs plan strategies that effectively align with the objectives of HR, finance, and pharmacy teams.

• Establishes collaborative partnerships with broker consultants and hospital (tribal) staff to enhance the utilization of in-house pharmacy capabilities.

• Client and Industry Awareness: Responsible for understanding the client's organization, key contacts, products/services, and client initiatives.

• Maintains ongoing awareness of the hospital (tribal) landscape and in-house pharmacy operations.

• Possesses knowledge of 340B and its overall implications for the organization.

• Interdepartmental Communication: Ensures accurate and timely preparation of client deliverables; assists in onboarding new clients, facilitates in-house pharmacy setup for both new and existing clients, initiates requests for benefit plan modifications, and generates monthly and quarterly reports as expected.

• Job Duties Include: Participates in continuous educational events for skill enhancement. Attends training specific to in-house pharmacy processes and procedures. Develops and nurtures effective working relationships in a consultative capacity with service partner contacts (such as analysts, underwriters, brokers & consultants, PBMs, sales and service representatives) and client HR & in-house pharmacy contacts. Collaborates with the client onboarding team for new client implementations. Facilitates in-house setup discussions, completes necessary setup forms, and reviews with clients/IHP. Coordinates new client deliverables: benefit welcome kits, member communications, and open enrollment materials in collaboration with internal client onboarding. Prepares and presents employee materials via webinars or in-person enrollment meetings. Effectively communicates with internal key stakeholders, keeping them informed of all significant activities on client accounts. Conducts quality checks of service agreements, claims processing, benefit designs, financial reports, etc. Specializes in best practices to meet in-house pharmacy objectives. Acts as a liaison in conjunction with pharmacy benefit operations, assisting clients with service issues related to billing, claims, eligibility, COBRA, and customer service. Develops strategies and recommendations for clients regarding cost containment solutions. Facilitates benefit change forms, member impacts, and communications in coordination with benefit change teams. Engages in frequent discussions and meetings with clients and broker consultants regarding expectations and progress toward client objectives. Prepares reports as necessary for the Director of Strategic Markets, broker consultants, and clients. Maintains accurate and up-to-date information on accounts. Communicates RxBenefits "Our Value-Added Service" to clients. Meets or surpasses departmental goals set by the Director of Strategic Markets. Assists in keeping departmental materials, contacts, and intranet up to date. Aids in the development of job aids and training materials. Projects a positive image in and out of the office to colleagues, members, providers, and the community.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• 5+ years in a similar position with experience in a related field, including PBM, pharmacy consulting, pharmacy, or hospital/healthcare.

• Professional experience with 340B and/or GPO fee schedules.

• Background in supporting hospital personnel and in-house pharmacies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• In-depth knowledge of the marketplace, including carriers, underwriting requirements, and the benefits/services they provide.

• Thorough understanding of Employee Benefits insurance, with the capacity to read, analyze, and interpret industry policies and contracts.

• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential.

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team.
