This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Represent Ste. Michelle Wine Estates to designated accounts while acting as a reliable partner.
β’ Implement company sales strategies to meet depletion and PODS targets.
β’ Communicate brand objectives and promote marketing initiatives effectively.
β’ Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute in-store programs.
β’ Monitor performance metrics for programs, planning, and distribution.
β’ Establish strong relationships to become the preferred supplier and resource for the category.
β’ Stay informed about SMWE brands, market competitors, and category trends.
β’ Prepare forecasts for budgets and brand depletions as required.
β’ Provide updates to executive leadership regarding presentations, schedules, and program outcomes.
β’ Report the results of calls and ensure alignment with the VP, Senior Director, State Manager, and RVP.
β’ Oversee assigned budgets and manage national retail pricing within brand guidelines.
β’ Work alongside distributor account executives to align sales objectives and distribution strategies.
β’ Participate in trade and customer events; engage with industry organizations to foster relationships.
β’ Handle account pricing adjustments: develop strategies, communicate changes, negotiate terms, and inform stakeholders.
β’ Bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry is required.
β’ Experience with national or regional chain retailers is strongly preferred.
β’ Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
β’ Familiarity with syndicated and category management data tools, including IRI/Circana, Nielsen, and related analytics platforms.
β’ In-depth knowledge of the retail landscape, covering grocery, warehouse clubs, drug stores, and mass merchandise channels.
β’ Expertise in merchandising, category management, retail operations, and financial performance metrics.
β’ A valid driver's license with the ability to travel frequently (approximately 30-35%).
β’ Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
β’ A history of responsible alcohol use and appropriate conduct.
β’ Fit to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory authorities.
