This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Prepare civil drafting and technical design documentation for various projects, including:
• Stormwater drainage systems
• Earthworks
• Sediment and erosion control
• Roads and carparks
• Pavement design
• Sewer reticulation
• Water reticulation
• Detention basins and water quality systems
• Develop stormwater reports that encompass:
• Quantity and quality calculations
• Drainage assessments
• Stormwater modelling
• Flood investigation reports
• Review project requirements, scope of work, and client specifications to guarantee comprehensive and precise project delivery.
• Transform engineering concepts and client needs into technical drawings, layouts, and construction-ready documentation.
• Prepare, review, and update both concept and detailed civil designs, calculations, and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure that project requirements, timelines, and deliverables are clearly communicated.
• Ensure all work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with internal quality standards and client expectations.
• Assist in quality assurance activities by reviewing drawings, calculations, reports, and technical outputs prior to submission.
• Aid with project tracking, reporting, and workflow coordination to uphold delivery schedules and enhance project efficiency.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives by identifying workflow efficiencies and suggesting process enhancements where applicable.
• Maintain adherence to company business management systems, environmental regulations, and workplace health and safety standards.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in stormwater and/or civil design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and experience in preparing technical civil design drawings.
• Understanding of stormwater drainage design principles, civil drafting standards, and infrastructure documentation.
• Ability to accurately interpret engineering concepts, project scopes, and technical requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent track record of delivering precise, high-quality technical outputs.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring quality and turnaround expectations are met.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while effectively collaborating with remote engineering teams.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and comfort in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Highly Preferred Experience with: MUSIC or similar stormwater modelling software, HEC-RAS or similar flood modelling software, Civil Works or infrastructure projects, Australian civil engineering standards or local council requirements, and Australian project environments.
