This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Execute data extraction, cleansing, validation, transformation, and maintenance tasks across various data sources.
• Carry out statistical analyses and quantitative data mining to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and other significant insights.
• Create reports, dashboards, summaries, and visualizations to effectively convey analytical results.
• Collect, validate, interpret, and present data to bolster operational and business objectives.
• Conduct statistical programming and data analysis utilizing analytical software and programming languages.
• Design and implement database queries to extract and analyze data from extensive datasets.
• Draft clear, concise, and accurate reports, memoranda, data files, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Articulate analytical methods, assumptions, and outcomes to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Assist with internal quality reviews, audits, and data validation processes.
• Engage in team projects, methodological discussions, and initiatives aimed at continuous process improvement.
• Keep abreast of developments in statistical methods, healthcare industry trends, data analytics technologies, and relevant regulations.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant privacy, security, and confidentiality standards.
• Follow IntegrityM policies and client guidelines regarding the protection of sensitive information.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable quantitative discipline.
• At least two years of experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS, Python, R, or SQL).
• Preferred experience with statistical methodologies and relational database systems.
• A minimum of three years of experience analyzing healthcare, health insurance, or government healthcare program data.
• Preferred experience handling healthcare claims, clinical, financial, or administrative datasets.
• Advanced understanding of statistical analysis, quantitative methods, and analytical problem-solving techniques.
• Proficient in Python, Databricks, SAS, SQL, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other analytical software.
• Experience in developing queries, analyzing large datasets, and interpreting complex data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to clarify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet set deadlines.
