This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Lead the team responsible for technology solutions within capital markets, ensuring a strategic vision, operational effectiveness, data-driven decision-making, and ongoing enhancement of deliverables, while maintaining strong alignment with business needs and Cedro's goals.
• Manage the backlog by keeping it updated, prioritized, and aligned with the team's capacity and the strategy established with the Product Manager.
• Direct, advocate for, and supervise the development of solutions and features, ensuring both technical quality and alignment with business objectives.
• Act as a technical resource for the team by auditing solutions, addressing inquiries, and suggesting tools, standards, and improvements.
• Facilitate all agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives), monitor sprints, and ensure a structured workflow.
• Plan the sizing of requests (enhancements, bugs, projects), evaluating technical feasibility, timelines, and productivity capacity, while aligning expectations with internal stakeholders and clients as necessary.
• Manage team outcomes and metrics, focusing on performance, quality, and ongoing development.
• Additionally, oversee software development projects, integrating commercial teams, clients, and the technical team to ensure alignment and on-schedule deliveries.
• In regards to personnel management, supervise the team's productivity capacity, monitor well-being and performance, request replacements when needed, and foster individual and collective development through feedback, training, and guidance aligned with company standards.
• Specialist in business and capital markets (investments).
• Must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months' validity.
• Available for scheduled travel to Angola (with stays of 3 to 4 weeks).
• Proven experience in brokerages, asset management, or investment fintechs.
• At least 5 years of experience in the investment market.
• Strong experience in leading technical teams or squads.
• Comprehensive knowledge of products, operations, regulations, and routines within the financial market.
• Authoritative profile: capable of solving complex problems or guiding the team toward solutions.
• Ability to serve as a technical and strategic reference for the team.
• Experience with teams utilizing AI-assisted tools or a strong practical interest in AI (enthusiast, lifelong learner).
