Senior Employment Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the main legal consultant for the People team

• Deliver expert advice throughout the entire employment lifecycle

• Manage all employment-related disputes, including pre-litigation claims and administrative filings

• Supervise internal investigations and provide guidance on compliance with employment laws

• Collaborate with related legal areas as business requirements change

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10+ years of focused experience in employment law

• Background in in-house legal counsel roles

• Strong knowledge of California employment law

• Experience in managing employment litigation

• Proficient in advising on equity and executive compensation matters

• Familiarity with high-growth or technology firms

• Outstanding communication abilities

• Excellent judgment

• Capability to work independently in a dynamic environment

• Proficient in using AI tools
