This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of state bid submissions related to instructional materials adoptions.

• Create and implement organizational frameworks to enhance adoption processes and facilitate information sharing.

• Develop project plans for the submission of state instructional materials bids.

• Recognize potential risks and formulate strategies for mitigation.

• Collaborate with the Adoptions team to ensure that bid submission plans align with state requirements and timelines.

• Conduct weekly cross-functional status meetings, distribute agendas, record minutes, and monitor action items.

• Maintain and track correspondence logs with state departments of education.

• Produce, print, bind, and dispatch state bid submissions.

• Ensure uniformity and precision in technical and proposal content.

• Assist Adoptions and cross-functional teams with timelines for standards correlations, criteria documents, and rubric completion.

• Create process documentation and provide training and support to team members.

• Carry out other relevant duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in educational publishing, ideally within an Adoptions or RFP team at a K-12 publishing company.

• Proficient in project management software and methodologies.

• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across large, diverse teams.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

• Proven effectiveness in cross-functional collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.

• Capability to complete projects punctually and to a high standard.

• Skill in managing multiple projects and competing deadlines by prioritizing tasks effectively and adapting to changing needs.

• Innovative thinking and creative approaches to problem-solving.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to boost productivity and streamline workflows.

• Willingness to travel less than 10% of the time.
