Starszy Specjalista – Administracja MES

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Maintaining and developing the MES system (Siemens Opcenter Execution) in collaboration with the supplier.

• Collaborating on the integration of MES with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), SCADA, PLC, laboratory systems, and data broker platforms (e.g., HighByte Connectivity Platform, Streamline Integration Platform).

• Co-creating, maintaining, and updating the technical documentation of the system.

• Ensuring compliance with GxP requirements and actively participating in system validation (including during changes and updates implementation).

• Working with Production, Quality, Digital, and Engineering teams, as well as system suppliers.

• Handling tickets: analysis, escalation, coordinating actions, and communicating with stakeholders.

• Monitoring the operation of the MES system and responding to incidents as part of the 3rd line support.

• Overseeing the delivery of work by suppliers and settling accounts according to agreements and SLAs.

• Participating in implementation projects, digital transformation, and the development of production systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher technical education (automation, computer science, production engineering, or related fields).

• Experience working with production systems (MES), with a preference for experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution Pharma.

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks), basic virtualization, and cloud solutions.

• Understanding of production processes and the industrial environment (experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus).

• Experience in IT/OT system integration and collaboration with SCADA, PLC, ERP, and Historian systems.

• Ability to work with databases (SQL; Oracle experience is preferred).

• Skills in analyzing and resolving technical issues and documenting changes.

• Teamwork skills and effective communication abilities.

• Proficiency in English sufficient for working in an international environment.

• Preferred: familiarity with broker platforms (HighByte, Streamline), OPC UA, MQTT, REST API protocols, scripting (VBScript, Python), and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI).
