Staff Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the organization of documentation.

• Develop documentation.

• Produce both internal and client-facing documentation that guides users on utilizing Syllo throughout every phase of the litigation process.

• Generate client-facing documentation for new and intricate features.

• Respond to quick-turnaround inquiries from clients regarding our product.

• Revise release notes to maximize their usefulness for our clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to maintain organization and, when necessary, restructure an expanding documentation library.

• Skill in writing that goes beyond merely outlining standard UI actions, effectively linking complex legal workflows to the product’s functionalities.

• A strong desire to explore all available resources for finding answers to even the most intricate and/or technical inquiries.

• Proficient in creating specialized internal guides for solutions architects, customer success, and training & enablement, as well as external, client-facing guides tailored to specific user personas: litigators, paralegals, eDiscovery specialists, and administrators.

• Expertise in crafting procedural step-by-step guides, decision trees, and visual workflow diagrams that assist users in executing complex, multi-stage legal tasks within the platform.

• Exceptional attention to detail to refine automated product update notes, ensuring technical updates are clear, concise, and impactful.

• Ability to translate developer updates into client-focused value propositions.

• Fluency in the Litigation Lifecycle: possesses comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the litigation journey, including the progression from early intake and eDiscovery to written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
