• Develop and write documentation tailored for developers, ML engineers, and technical architects of varying experience levels: including technical guides, API and client references, walkthroughs, and sample applications.
• Contribute to the information architecture and enhance the user experience of the developer portal.
• Establish a cycle for maintaining and iteratively improving our documentation.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to produce documentation for new features.
• Collaborate with customer success and developer advocates to identify user needs and meet them through documentation.
• Gather and utilize qualitative (e.g., user research) and quantitative (e.g., analytics) data to refine documentation content and user experience.
• Proven experience in planning, researching, writing, and editing technical documentation for developers in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with using and documenting SDKs, APIs, and similar tools.
• Proficient in static site generators, version control, managing documentation as code, OpenAPI, and documentation platforms like Redocly or Readme.
• Exceptional writing skills with a strong focus on clarity, accuracy, and simplicity.
• Attributes such as curiosity, thoroughness, organization, enthusiasm, and self-direction are essential.
• Preferred but not mandatory:
• Experience with databases, machine learning, or search technologies.
• Experience in creating diagrams and video tutorials.
