Staff Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Exhibits outstanding business acumen, is knowledgeable about the latest industry trends, and is regarded as an internal authority on the product and the competitive landscape.

• Engages with customers and stakeholders to gather voice of customer (VOC) requirements, refine concepts, and collect product feedback.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products.

• Holds a comprehensive understanding of the technology stack and its influence on the final product.

• Regularly partners with UX teams to inform design decisions.

• Conducts interviews with customers and stakeholders, elaborating on personas.

• Demonstrates exceptional persuasion and influencing abilities to ensure alignment among customers, product managers, and engineering teams.

• Manages the releases and sprint backlogs, outlining the short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.

• Owns and organizes the backlog; consistently prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always prepared.

• Continuously prioritizes based on the understanding and validation of customer needs and issues.

• Exhibits strategic-level skills in problem decomposition and effectively navigates through ambiguity.

• Frequently engages (50% of the time) with the development team, facilitating discussions, providing clarifications, and ensuring story acceptance and refinement, testing, and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.

• Converts unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.

• Partners with Development Leadership and Service Owners to maintain a healthy development process.

• Mentors junior team members.

• Bachelor's Degree with advanced experience.

• Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles.

• Experience in an Agile environment.

• Familiarity with various implementation options.
