Staff Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Creating specifications for subcontracts, statements of work, HOA agreements, Long-Term Pricing Agreements, and various other contractual documents related to GSC.

• Drafting, assessing, and negotiating the terms and conditions for intricate, high-value contracts (including FFP, CPFF, T&M, etc.).

• Compiling bid packages, facilitating bidder conferences, performing cost/price analysis, and selecting or recommending subcontractors.

• Collaborating with contracts, legal, engineering, quality, planning, operations, finance, program management, and end-users.

• Tracking supplier performance (KPIs, quality, schedule) and utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.

• Leading Supply Chain Management Teams (SMT).

• Guaranteeing adherence to FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, NATO contracts, and all company policies, while maintaining documentation that is ready for auditing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, OR a PhD with 8 years of relevant experience, OR a high school diploma or equivalent with 16 years of relevant experience in subcontracts, purchasing, contracts, project/business management, or finance.

• Experience in subcontract sourcing through to close-out; drafting HOA and Long-Term Pricing Agreements; negotiating terms and conditions; managing supplier performance; conducting cost/price analysis; and performing market research.

• Proficient working knowledge of FAR/DFARS (or equivalent business law).

• Familiarity with CostPoint or SAP ERP, along with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Capacity to obtain and maintain a Government Secret clearance or higher (US Citizenship required).
