Staff Structured Origination Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Spearhead Antora’s initiatives to discover, assess, acquire, and collaboratively develop energy projects aimed at long-duration energy storage (LDES) implementation.

• Initiate and organize innovative commercial agreements with renewable developers.

• Cultivate Antora’s portfolio of co-located storage projects through developer partnerships, meticulous due diligence, and inventive deal structuring.

• Establish and nurture working relationships with renewable developers within target ISO/RTO markets throughout the United States.

• Negotiate intricate and innovative agreements to govern co-development and co-location frameworks.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to utilize project scoring frameworks for prioritizing opportunities based on site quality, development and interconnection status, market access, and strategic alignment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with direct involvement in project acquisition, M&A, or structured development partnerships.

• Proven experience in structuring complex, multi-agreement transactions within the renewable energy industry.

• Successful track record in acquiring and/or developing utility-scale renewable energy and/or storage projects in MISO, SPP, or PJM.

• Experience in negotiating MIPAs, asset purchase agreements, co-development agreements, and related transaction documents.

• Knowledge of interconnection mechanics and regulations, particularly as they pertain to storage projects.

• Understanding of ISO/RTO capacity markets and the participation of storage assets in optimizing capacity revenues.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder relationships concurrently in a dynamic, early-stage environment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex deal structures into clear recommendations for leadership.
