Staff Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Guide technical discovery efforts to comprehend business motivators, technical environment, constraints, decision-making processes, and success metrics.

• Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, evaluations, and proof-oriented engagements that align dbt capabilities with genuine customer challenges.

• Develop practical solution architectures that encompass dbt, data warehouses, orchestration, business intelligence, governance, and related ecosystem tools.

• Collaborate closely with account teams on qualification, technical success criteria, risks, next steps, and forecast accuracy.

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor for analytics engineers, data engineers, architects, and technical decision-makers.

• Articulate complex subjects clearly in both written and verbal communications, tailoring depth and framing to suit the audience.

• Facilitate customer adoption and growth by linking technical results to further use cases and the long-term value of the platform.

• Exemplify dbt values through professionalism, curiosity, accountability, collaboration, and a mindset geared towards growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, sales engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical position.

• In-depth knowledge of dbt, analytics engineering, SQL, data transformation, and contemporary cloud data platforms.

• Capability to spearhead technical strategy in intricate enterprise opportunities involving numerous stakeholders and dynamic elements.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity, balancing immediate deal support with sustainable architectural quality, and functioning in a rapidly evolving environment.

• Demonstrated experience in mentoring, empowering peers, or developing resources and practices that enhance team efficiency.

• Exceptional executive communication, technical storytelling, and written documentation abilities.
