
Staff Software Engineer – Full Stack, Golang

• You will be responsible for developing essential services primarily utilizing Golang and PostgreSQL.
• As a startup with an extensive product roadmap, you will contribute to enhancing foundational services to boost the efficiency of our product teams.
• Address issues related to previously delivered features.
• Create unit and integration tests for the code you develop.
• Conduct peer reviews of code written by your colleagues on the team.
• Ensure that the software is secure and maintainable.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers.
• Promote automation and a culture of continuous improvement.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development (full stack).
• Preferred professional experience with Golang (Go).
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies, including React and Typescript.
• A proponent of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Experience in distributed systems or microservices.
• Background in designing APIs (Protocol Buffers, RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI, etc.).
• Strategic orchestration of AI-Augmented Engineering: Fosters organization-wide adoption of AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) across both frontend and backend domains to enhance the delivery of modular, full-stack features. Establishes and advocates for cross-stack standards for AI-generated code from API design to UI components, ensuring automated testing and documentation workflows minimize technical debt at scale. Provides coaching for both engineers and managers on utilizing GenAI to bridge domain gaps, facilitating smoother collaboration across teams while upholding high architectural standards.
