Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Become a part of a collaborative team consisting of Design, Product, QA, and various engineering professionals to create robust and scalable full-stack software applications.

• Take the lead on intricate projects aimed at enhancing functionality and reliability for our customers.

• Offer design feedback and engage in code reviews to guarantee that implementations align with requirements.

• Facilitate architectural discussions and shape the technical roadmap.

• Promote best coding practices to elevate standards for yourself, your team, and the organization.

• Provide mentorship and technical support to fellow team members.

• Utilize cutting-edge AI tools to optimize your development workflow, increase efficiency, and help innovate new methodologies in building, fostering a culture of innovation and productivity within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of full-stack experience in Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages, along with modern web frameworks such as React.

• Strong proficiency with contemporary web standards and technologies (e.g., REST, GraphQL).

• Skilled in non-relational data storage solutions (e.g., DynamoDB).

• Experience with applied machine learning or large language models.

• Familiarity with distributed systems, enterprise messaging systems, and/or microservices.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, reliable services to production.

• Excellent communication skills across teams on complex technical subjects.

• A strong passion for technology and a desire to learn new things.
