Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on technical leadership within the development team.

• Spearhead technical design and project execution to align with business objectives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of requirements.

• Create and develop cloud-enabled products using contemporary frameworks.

• Guide Software Engineers in their knowledge enhancement journey.

• Promote modern agile methodologies and best practices.

• Convert requirements into sprint stories and effectively execute them.

• Construct prototypes to refine concepts into production-ready features.

• Ensure high-quality integrations between G-P's platform and external HRIS systems.

• Design innovative services using serverless architectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proven track record of taking initiative in a multi-region remote-first setting.

• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

• Strong expertise in serverless architectures (AWS SAM/Lambda).

• Extensive experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).

• Demonstrated proficiency in designing and maintaining microservices and bounded contexts.

• Proven experience in REST API design and implementation of event-driven patterns.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions.

• Experience in full-stack web application development with modern frameworks (e.g., Typescript, React, Node.js).
