• Design and develop robust, scalable, and thoroughly tested systems. Take the lead on architectural decisions for your squad and contribute directly to the codebase.
• Convert ambitious product objectives into clearly defined technical roadmaps. Collaborate with Product and Design teams to identify capacity and technical limitations, guiding sequencing and prioritization.
• Act as a technical multiplier for your team. Enhance the skills of those around you through hands-on mentoring, comprehensive code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Assess and implement AI capabilities (RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering) where they provide real value to the product, making deliberate engineering choices rather than defaulting to them.
• Set engineering best practices and evaluation frameworks for accuracy-critical features, ensuring our LLM-supported systems are reliable and deterministic.
• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, including roles as both an individual contributor and a technical leader or mentor.
• Proven experience in building and deploying applications utilizing LLMs (either in a production environment or as a well-developed personal project), with an understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, or agentic frameworks.
• Regularly utilize AI tools (for code generation, debugging, documentation, or research) to enhance your own productivity, and eager to extend that expertise to the wider team.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and/or graph databases.
• Proficient in TypeScript and backend web development, particularly REST APIs.
• Experience in deploying and managing software in cloud environments, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• A solid record of conducting thorough code reviews and maintaining disciplined testing practices.
• Familiarity with Graph databases and optimizing queries for large-scale data management.
• Experience working across both front-end and back-end codebases.
• Knowledge of container orchestration utilizing Kubernetes.
• Interest in data visualization and effectively presenting large, complex datasets.
• Exposure to batch processing frameworks like Spark.
• 100% fully covered medical, vision, and dental insurance for employees and their dependents.

• Competitive compensation package; attractive commissions for revenue-generating roles and bonuses for non-revenue positions.
• A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Eligibility for additional benefits including a 401k match up to 5%, fully paid life insurance (up to $100,000 coverage), and parental leave.
• A collaborative and positive work culture - your colleagues will be as intelligent and driven as you are.
• Unlimited opportunities for growth and learning.
