Staff Software Engineer – App Infra

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop intricate software systems and architectures.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to develop scalable and efficient software solutions.

• Guarantee high levels of performance, reliability, and security within the developed systems.

• Document software designs, architectural decisions, and implementation specifics.

• Continuously assess new technologies and industry trends.

• Write, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and robust code utilizing Python/Golang.

• Review and offer feedback on code produced by other engineers.

• Ensure that software undergoes rigorous testing to meet high-quality standards.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers in their technical and professional growth.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• 8 to 12 years of experience in software development, including experience in leading technical teams.

• Proven history of delivering large-scale software projects from inception to completion.

• Proficient in multiple programming languages, including Python and Golang.

• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and industry best practices.

• Experience with web frameworks such as Flask and associated ecosystems.

• Expertise in system design, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.

• Strong database skills (Postgres, MySQL, etc.) and experience in data modeling.

• Exceptional analytical and debugging skills, capable of troubleshooting and optimizing complex software systems.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
