Staff Software Engineer, AI – Org & Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design and develop AI and agentic systems that examine organizational data to identify policy violations, compliance risks, and governance challenges.

• Create agents and pipelines that leverage LLMs to analyze extensive data sets.

• Architect and construct knowledge graph systems that represent organizational structures and relationships.

• Take an ambiguous, undefined problem, propose a concrete technical solution, defend it, and then implement it.

• Introduce engineering rigor to the processes of testing, evaluating, and iterating on performance.

• Collaborate with the Org Intelligence team to gain AI-driven insights into governance and compliance areas.

• Contribute across the technology stack, focusing primarily on the AI and agent layer rather than the user interface.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building AI systems as a creator rather than merely a user.

• Familiarity with constructing or utilizing knowledge graphs within a real, deployed system.

• Background in developing agents or LLM-based systems that interpret unstructured or ambiguous information.

• Ability to independently manage a project from architectural design to delivery with significant autonomy.

• Strong foundational software engineering skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic team environment.

• A history of transforming vague, complex problems into tangible, functional systems.

• Hands-on experience with knowledge graph tools: graph databases and query languages such as Neo4j/Cypher, RDF/SPARQL, Amazon Neptune, or similar technologies.

• Practical experience with LLM provider APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) and agent frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.

• Familiarity with retrieval infrastructures such as vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or similar) to ground agent reasoning in organizational data.

• Proficient in a programming language that is well-suited for graph construction, agent pipelines, and data analysis.
