Staff Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the deployment of a self-service platform that allows engineers to deploy code swiftly, securely, and effortlessly.

• Engage in peer code evaluations, offering constructive feedback to fellow engineers.

• Monitor and explore new and emerging technologies that enhance performance, delivery, and the overall developer experience.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to software engineers at mid to early career stages.

• Collaborate with other engineers within CVS Digital to develop technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of backend development experience with enterprise-level applications.

• At least 5 years of experience collaborating with architecture, product, and program management teams to shape product development strategies.

• Over 4 years of expertise in backend technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Golang, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and major public cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.

• Proven experience leading teams that utilize Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
