Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical design and development efforts for enterprise integration and automation projects.

• Design AWS-based microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and secure integration strategies.

• Provide direct coding assistance across backend services, APIs, databases, and automation processes.

• Mentor developers during design evaluations, code assessments, troubleshooting, and ensuring production readiness.

• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Assist in the design and execution of AI and agent-based automation use cases across various business areas.

• Establish best engineering practices for the software development lifecycle (SDLC), documentation, testing, observability, security, and release management.

• Diagnose production issues and lead root cause analysis and long-term resolution efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid software engineering background with practical experience in backend development.

• Proven experience in designing and building solutions on the AWS Cloud.

• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, databases, authentication methods, and integration patterns.

• Familiarity with automation platforms like Workato or similar integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tools.

• Experience with AWS Bedrock.

• Capability to lead technical design conversations and mentor fellow engineers.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and adeptness in stakeholder management.

• Practical knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
