Staff Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate and work independently to design and implement solutions, as well as review and provide constructive feedback on those developed by fellow engineers for our software and services hosted on cloud production infrastructure.

• Influence the development and deployment of our mission-critical enterprise software solutions through optimized and automated CI/CD pipelines that guarantee high-quality products.

• Assist in the design, construction, and support of infrastructure and security technologies in the cloud, ensuring resiliency, observability, and cost optimization.

• Communicate proactively and effectively with various audiences within the organization. Share your expertise, experience, and knowledge with others to foster their growth and development.

• Engage in work planning and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct technology evaluations and make selection decisions.

• Participate in an on-call rotation for the maintenance of cloud solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture.

• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms, preferably GCP.

• Proficient in programming with Go (Golang).

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for orchestration and Docker for containerization.

• Skilled in defining and implementing automated service deployments, including networking, security, reliability, management, reporting, and configuration management.

• Comprehensive understanding of best practices for deployment automation.

• Experience using Git in a collaborative team environment (pull requests, branching, pushing, and pulling).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
