Staff Security Risk & Compliance Program Manager – Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the strategic vision and roadmap for Confluent's access management program.

• Oversee the program to implement service-to-service authentication.

• Transition non-human identity from a pilot phase into a fully funded and governed program.

• Maintain ownership of the Access Management Standard and policies focused on least privilege.

• Define and monitor program OKRs while communicating risk posture to leadership.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with engineering and platform teams.

• Ensure seamless integration of the access management program with related GRC domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in security program management, identity & access management, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience managing an enterprise-scale access program in the technology sector.

• Profound understanding of identity and access management principles.

• Practical knowledge of machine and workload identity.

• Strong foundational knowledge in security engineering concerning cloud infrastructure security controls.

• Familiarity with identity platforms and access management tools.

• Experience in integrating access processes into GRC and access-orchestration platforms.

• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
